While these processes sometimes require additives such as salt, sugar, or food acids to ensure quality and preservation, we strive to keep these to a minimum. We are acutely aware of the health risks associated with excessive consumption of salt and sugar.
Our passion for flavour translates into innovative solutions. A great example is our Sweet Chili Sauce with 50% less sugar, where we use natural stevia to maintain its characteristic sweetness. We also offer a version of our iconic Ketjap Manis with 30% less sugar. Here too, sugar is replaced with stevia, enhancing the rich, sweet soy flavour even further. These successes have inspired us to significantly reduce salt and sugar in other products as well, without compromising on taste.
The high appreciation for these products is evident from their recognition with the Innova Klassiek award: the Sweet Chili Sauce from 2018 to 2022 and the Ketjap Manis 30% Less Sugar from 2020 to 2024.
